Amarillo® is a high demand United States hop that is dual purpose, but commonly used in late additions or dry hopping. This hop is a popular American mid-range alpha-acid variety with a unique and distinct aroma.

The hallmark orange and red grapefruit notes, a barrage of tropical fruit, ripe melon and stone fruit aromatics, makes Amarillo® popular. The flavour profile is very citrusy, especially leaning towards a distinct orange flavour and aroma. Perfect for flavour and aroma additions.

Amarillo® is used in American Pale Ale, Indian Pale Ale (IPA), Imperial IPA beers, ESB’s (Extra Special Bitter) and Porters.
