FRENCH OAK - CHIPS
Provides complex, pleasant and well defined toasted oak characters and aromas of vanilla, toffee, butterscotch, chocolate, coffee, mocha, graham cracker, with a touch of nutmeg and clove. The flavours offer sweetness, creaminess and roundness and depth to the mouthfeel with a lingering pronounced toast character.

Their oak products are convection oven toasted rather than hand-fired, enabling them to provide consistent results for winemakers, brewers and distillers, year after year.
Innerstave Chips can be used during fermentation and will minimize undesirable vegetal characters, provide co-pigmentation to bind colour and give body and mouthfeel. Innerstave Chips can be added during aging and offers tannin, body and true premium barrel flavours. A small amount added just prior to bottling will lift the flavour to refresh the finished oak character.
