Concentrated Lactic acid to regulate pH during mashing. It is used to lower and adjust the pH of the mash and sparge water.

Instruction for Use:

It is advised to use a pipette to measure out the amount required.

ONLY use small increments/doses - allow time for the reaction to occur.

Add to the mash or sparge water to lower the pH.

Lactic Acid can be used before mash in, this allows the Brewer to precisely hit the target mash pH (typically the 5.2–5.6 range) upfront.

A brewing calculator can assist with the precise amount to add.

PLEASE NOTE:

Constant measurement of mash pH is critical to make sure the adjustments achieve the desired result.

Don’t just rely on software pH estimates.
