Lactose Powder is used to sweeten Beer/Wine and can be added until desired flavour is obtained.
There is no fermentation period or rest needed, so Beer/Wine may be bottled immediately.
Additional Information:
One fourth as sweet as cane sugar (sucrose) and non-fermentable by yeast, Lactose Powder can be used to sweeten a dry or bitter Wine or Beer.
Lactose Powder can also be added to give sweetness and body to Beers such as Sweet Stouts (Milk Stouts).
Directions for Use:
Add the Lactose Powder to hot water and mix thoroughly before adding to Beer / Wine.
Add the Lactose Powder at the end of the Fermentation before bottling.
Storage and Handling:
Lactose Powder should be stored in a cool and dry area away from heat and direct sunlight.
