This handheld, portable Milk Refractometer has been designed to be used to test Milk's purity - fully ranges are available.
The Milk Refractometer with a Milk Scale that measures a range from 0.0 to 20%.
The Milk Refractometer measures the refractive index of the solution in a sample, converts it to milk concentration in units of percent by weight - % Milk is also know as Degrees Milk and displays the results.
The Portable Refractometer is a high quality unit which is extremely accurate. The unit is easy to use, focus and calibrate. Calibration is simply done with a few drops of distilled water.
The Portable Refractometer comes with ATC (Automatic Temperature Compensation) allowing you to use the unit between 10°C – 30°C, so the temperature of the sample is irrelevant.
The Portable Refractometer uses ambient light only which means battery or power source is not required.
