The Salinity and Brix Portable Refractometer is used to measure the concentration of salt water, very low concentrated salt solutions and low concentrated of sugar solutions as well as reading salt solution density. Ideal for aquariums, marine monitoring and quality control in research, clinical laboratories and the food and beverage industries.
The Portable Refractometer is a high quality unit which is extremely accurate. The unit is easy to use, focus and calibrate. Calibration is simply done with a few drops of distilled water.
The Portable Refractometer comes with ATC (Automatic Temperature Compensation) allowing you to use the unit between 10°C – 30°C, so the temperature of the sample is irrelevant.
The Portable Refractometer uses ambient light only which means battery or power source is not required.
