The Stainless Steel Adaptor - ½" Male to 5/8” Female has been manufactured using 304 Stainless Steel.
The Stainless Steel Adaptor has 5/8” Female on one side (to allow it to be screed onto Keg Couplers as shown in the graphic or onto Tap Shanks) and on the other side it has ½” Male.

In the Beer Dispensing Industry the 5/8” Thread is widely used throughout all fittings such as Keg Couplers, Beer Tap Shanks and many other fittings.
With that said, 5/8” Threads are rarely used elsewhere so this adaptor changes the 5/8” Thread to the common ½” Thread that will be able to use on a wide range of plumbing fittings from the hardware store.
