Stepless Clamps 14.5mm are used widely for 5mm ID and 6mm ID x 8mm and 9.5mm OD Beer and Gas Line.
Stepless Clamps are manufactured from Stainless Steel and are designed to tighten in an exact circle around the hosing. Simple to use these Stepless Clamps create an even compression.
Compatibility:
6mm – 8mm suits a 5mm and 6mm ID Beer Line.
7mm – 10mm suits a 4mm ID Beer Line.
Installation:
Simply use a Crimping Tool or the Middle Cutter on a pair of pliers to crimp the Stepless Clamp closed. DO NOT SQUEEZE THE CLAMP.
Please Note:
If a 4mm ID x 8mm OD Beer Line is being used, then a 7mm – 10mm (10.5mm) Clamps should be used. The internal wall is thicker on this line and the it will not fit over the clamp.
Additional Information:
Many Home-Brewers use Worm Drive Hose Clamps which tend to pinch the Beer Line on one side causing the Hose to leak or de-rate the pressure holding capacity of the system. Stepless Clamps are significantly better as they form even compression around the whole diameter of the line. This makes a much better and more reliable connection.
In addition to an even compression, the Stepless Clamps form a much neater connection, with no screws or bolts handing off the Line.
