The Tri-Clover Butterfly Valve 2” are able to hold significant amounts of pressure as they are manufactured with high quality EPDM seals and can easily be serviced if required.

In general Butterfly valves are known to be the most sanitary valve design, which is why they are a favourite for Home Brewing hardware.

Unlike Ball Valves that have several cavities in them, the Butterfly Valves are far more sanitary with no "cavities" where dormant liquid can hide and stagnate.
