The Tri-Clover Pressure Relief Adaptor 2" has been manufactured using 304 grade Stainless Steel.
The Tri-Clover Pressure Relief Adaptor is used with Still Heads to allow pressure relief in the Still.
The Tri-Clover Pressure Relief Adaptor is installed after the Condenser to allow for Extensions filled with activated charcoal or botanicals. Using the adaptor allows newly made spirit such as neutral spirit to flow through activated carbon before entering the Spirit Cup.
Additional Information:
A valve can be installed to control the flow of spirit, this will allow for complete saturation of the spirit. (See Tri-Clover Adaptors 2" with a ½" Male or Female).
In normal operation the spirit would need to exit the Spirit Cup and then be transferred to a second device for saturation and cleaning. The Tri-Clover Pressure Relief Adaptor allows this operation in a single run / pass.
