The Tri-Clover Pressure Relief Valve PRV (Green) can accommodate a pressure of up to 65psi.
The PRV Housing can be used to relieve pressure in Vessels such as Fermenters or alternatively the PRV Housings can be installed into Dry Hopping Devices or venting air from Pumps.
The PRV Housing has been manufactured from 304 Stainless Steel.
Additional Information:
The Tri-Clover PRV can also be used when manufacturing Kegmenter Lids to compliment the Liquid and Gas Ports.

PLEASE NOTE:
PTFE Tape or a food grade adhesive should be used on threads.
The Pressure Relief Valve is a Pull-Ring style which will allow quick relief when needed.

This important safety mechanism has been manufactured to tight specifications to ensure its reliability.
Maintenance and Cleaning:
The Pressure Relief Valve needs to be cleaned regularly to ensure correct operation. If dried up Beer or Sugar gets into the Pressure Relief Valve, then remember to clean this out immediately as this can affect the safe working and opening pressures.

There are 3 different Pressure Relief Valve types that differ in opening pressure:
RED – 35psi (2.5 Bar)
GREEN – 65psi (4.5 Bar)
GREY – 100psi (6.9Bar)
The Pressure Relief Valve is a safety device designed to release pressure at the approximate rated pressure.
THIS IS NOT TO BE USED AS SPUNDING VALVE.
The pressure rating on the Pressure Relief Valves are approximate and have a tolerance of +/- 10psi.
If accurate pressure control is required to hold residual pressure in a Pressure Fermenter or Pressure Vessel, a BlowTie Spunding Valve should be used. Alternatively, a BlowTie Spunding Valve Kit should be purchased.
